Ever face a situation that was so difficult that endurance or escape seemed like an impossibility? You know the kind of situation that brings that crushing wave of fear that is so debilitating that one either gives up in despair, flees in any direction or worse yet impatiently tries to change

If you were offered an opportunity to sin and you knew no one could find out what you had done would you indulge in the sin? What if it was a sin that you had done before and got great pleasure from it or a sin that you have seen or heard from others that they are reveling in and getting

Every time I hear this story, I can’t help but look upon Esau and see him as one of the most foolish men in the Bible! Esau did not have to sell off all he had to obtain the “treasure” or “pearl” of God’s blessings he only had to accept that which God had already given him. Lest we think too

While Scripture promises if we draw nearer to God, He will draw nearer to us this does not mean that the process is easy. To seek the face of God and become more like Jesus one must take the time to be holy and be ready to embrace the painful changes of coming closer to the light. Thankfully we
