How I love the song “It is Well with my Soul!” While it would be great if every Christian all the time felt this way but we must admit there are times when we feel terribly alone. It is amazing how a person can be in a crowd of many people and still feel isolated. Living in a “me” generation makes it very difficult to find true friendship. Even inside of the church it can be difficult to cultivate closeness because many Christians wear masks to church and they fear if they remove them no one will love them! Who of us are willing to share our deepest sins with another? This sermon is going to remind us that we are never alone! Jesus is always with us and as such we can talk with Him at any time. We are not meant to travel life’s path by ourselves but through the power of the Holy Spirit we can serve and truly say “it is well with my soul!”
