In a world where absolute truth is no longer accepted it is difficult to spread the Good News that there is but one way to heaven, Jesus Christ! There will always be people that want to follow Satan and make up lies concerning Jesus. Even in Paul’s time, the Jews said Christ was yet to come and the Romans said Christ was too “primitive” for their advanced thinking. Paul tells the church of Corinth that while truth can seem illusive, if one relies on the Spirit of God for a mentor then God’s truth can be clearly known and obeyed! He gives the church a stern warning that must be heard today: do not listen to those who are not born again because without the Spirit living inside of them they cannot know the truth!
