Since the beginning of time humanity has sought to answer one fundamental question:  what is God like.  God is not like anything we can imagine in our minds for an idol made of the mind is just as offensive as an idol made by hands!  While it is impossible to know that which is unknowable, what we can know about God has been revealed to us through His Son, Jesus Christ and His Spirit.  Through practicing the spiritual disciplines of prayer, fasting, study, solitude and worship; humanity can come to see the eyes of Christ even while living the spiritually dry lands of North America.  God loves His ambassadors and royal priests and try wants to plow furrows of righteousness in our heats.

This sermon will focus on three truths about our modern day society that keeps us from getting to know God and then will finish with three steps in being transformed back the image God wants us to be!
