James states that faith without deeds is dead and useless. While it is purely by faith and not good deeds that a person is saved, without the fruits of the Spirit is one truly saved? It is easy to rest on our salvation and ignore the call to help those around us! As ambassadors and royal priests we are called to put our faith in action so that the world might see the light and glorify God the Father in heaven!
